The Issue

Have you every thought about where chocolate comes from? Or, how it is made? Well, you may be surprised to learn that before being mixed together at the chocolate factory, many of the ingredients are grown on farms far away. You may also be surprised to learn that cocoa beans (the ingredient that gives chocolate it's flavour) are sometimes harvested by children! This is called child labour and is the issue we are focusing on as we create our Willy Wonka themed bow ties for our Wearable Arts show.
